The coating facility was established in the end of the 1980’s in a suburb of Copenhagen and was acquired
by Niko Medical in the mid 1990’s. In 1998 Most of Niko Medical’s activities were sold to another company
in the medical device field.
The remains of Niko’s activities including the coating facility were continued under the name of Lina and until 2014 the coating activity was a division of Lina Medical, known as Lina Coating. Then in 2014 it was decided to separate the coating activity to a independent company under the name of Zealand Coating.
